Just a heads up, there’s a new passenger here named Demona. Blue skin, big bat wings, red hair, turns to a statue during the day. She almost immediately tried to commit murder because someone taped paper pigeons to her as a statue and is pretty literally genocidal towards humans. I had to pin her down to get her to stop.

So. Watch out for that.

I already know her.

I know enough of her story to understand her feelings towards the humans. It isn't mine to tell, but maybe they shouldn't have taped things to her it's similar enough to my own that I can't really blame her for her feelings.

But I will be mindful.

In the future, perhaps we should dissuade people from taping paper pigeons to her during the daytime. I'm not certain I'd be particularly fond of having things taped to me either because someone didn't see me as a real being.

So it runs deep. He got this from Erin already, but with Maeve he gets a better picture. It's not just overzealous bloodlust and paper pigeons because of course it fucking isn't. It's never that easy, he knows this lesson by now. Fine, he grumbles to himself, promises to himself, through gritted teeth.

[She can understand not wanting them to be harmed and wanting to protect them. She's felt that way with her own daughter and Ruby, but...there is little to be helped. Sometimes humans really are the creatures they were in both her and Demona's worlds. Despite the assurances that they aren't. She might check in and see if Demona needs someone to keep an eye on her during the day. It also takes quite a bit of restraint not to immediately tell Phil to have his child apologize. She doesn't wish to start an argument.]

I understand your frustration and your intentions. I will make a point to offer my services to keep her statue clear of such things in the future and we can hope to avoid any further attacks.

Darcy did apologize, is the thing. Tried to deescalate. Whether it was "good enough..." well, Demona made it clear that nothing was good enough.
